After menopause, body fat accumulation, decreased metabolism, increased triglycerides, bad cholesterol etc. occur in the body of women. Due to this, women who have reached the stage of menopause suffer from self-deprecation and mental depression. However, physical exercise can to some extent address some of the health problems associated with menopause.

Studies have shown that dance can overcome the difficulties faced by menopausal women in terms of body composition, metabolic profile, functional fitness, self-image/self-esteem etc. Dance is an activity that brings joy and pleasure. Also an exercise that anyone can practice on their own at low cost and with minimal risk. So menopausal women should make a place for dance in their daily life. Along with keeping the body weight under control, dance also helps in keeping the mind happy. Researchers say that most of all, self-esteem is removed and self-confidence increases.
